Adding a Class

You can still add courses to your schedule up through the end of Add/Drop week which is typically the first week of classes; note that this week varies depending on whether the course is a 16-week course or an 8-week course. You should always add a course through your OASIS Student Account; however, if you cannot for some reason (i.e. the course is full, it’s a 2nd 8-week course), you should fill out the Registration Change Form. First-semester students should consult their Academic Advisor for assistance in processing changes to their schedule.

Instructions for Adding a Course Through OASIS

You can add a course online through your OASIS Student Account by selecting “Register for Sections” and then “Search and register for sections”. You will be redirected to a menu that will allow you to search for courses by term and then subject and course level. You can be as specific or as general as you would like but you must enter a search term. Press submit and a list of all the courses fitting your search criteria will appear. (Note For All 2nd 8 Week Courses: You can enter the term and then enter Section number 201 on the first line and Section number 202 on the second line to see a list of all courses only being offered in the second half of the semester.)

Once you have found a course you would like to register for, check the “Select” box on the left-hand side of the course and then press “Submit” at the bottom of the page. You will be redirected to the registration menu.  Next to your course there you will see an “Action” drop-down menu; select “Register” and then press “Submit” at the bottom of the page. You should receive a receipt of your transaction afterward. If the system is unable to process your request because you have a hold, don’t meet a prerequisite, etc., a message will appear in red at the top of your page and tell you.

Note: You should always confirm your registration by going to “My Class Schedule” on the OASIS main menu and verifying that all your courses are showing.
